Even though the Chinese New Year isn’t until 7 February 2008 this year, I thought I’d post this now since our New Year is tomorrow! I’m really excited that it’s the year of the rat this year because that’s my year! I am, apparently, a wood rat & reading Wiki’s description (such a reliable source, we all know) it sounds fairly accurate. 
So what is everyone doing for their New Year’s celebrations? I know for some of you, 2008 has already started but here in the US, I’m in the time zone furthest east and we’ve got quite a ways to go yet! As for me, I’m going over to Gael’s house after work & I think we’re going to cook some dinner, drink some random beers I bought us for Christmas but forgot to drink (some international ones, that is), watch movies, & then watch the ball drop in Times Square. As for what we’re doing on the 1st- who knows? Probably sit around and stuff our faces with food and sleep. That’s my idea of a good day, anyways!

Winter has officially started. I am officially running out of things to blog about. To be honest, I’m thinking that my blogging days are soon coming to an end. I’m still over at LiveJournal updating it rather frequently on my life and the happenings. I don’t see my blog as a forum to discuss the private details of my life so if you’re curious about what’s going on, I would shoot me an email (link on the watashi no desu page) letting me know you’re going to add me on there. I’m selective in who I add but if you’re in the すきです section of my Blogroll you’ve got a good chance of being added. I really enjoyed my time in the outskirts of “lime light” of the DC blogging scene but it’s time for me to move on with my life (who knows, maybe I’ll come to an HH again sometime 
) and concentrate on the more important things in life.
Maybe sometime something noteworthy and interesting will happen that I can blog about but until then… じゃねー my lovelies.
