Remember how I used to do posts about going out on the weekends? I’d write these novellas on whatever debauchery I got into. Fun times!

Today I thought I’d write one of those posts! There wasn’t any debauchery, though. Just me getting insanely high and meeting some friends at a local “Irish pub” for a “girl’s night out.” I’ll post 3 pictures friend E took, too!

Sooo… since I’ve gotten married, I’ve felt like I can’t really go out. Especially without Andy. I guess ’cause I’m pretty damn insecure sometimes and I have a tendency to project emotions I’d have on to him. Like if he wanted to go out with “the boys” I’m sure I’d be super lonely and worried the whole time. (I also have trust issues )
Well, anyways, we talked about it and he’s perfectly fine with me going out once in a while (he’d probably have a problem if I wanted to go out every weekend. Though I wouldn’t ’cause I can’t afford it and I don’t have the energy, lol) so I decided to go for it!
First my friends and I were going to go to a gay club and get our dance on. Then my friend S’ sister stole her credit card and laptop because she borrowed her space heater. Most excellent. And that, my dears, is how we ended up at the Irish pub.

When we first got there, it was a bunch of old people. It didn’t bother me, though ’cause I was high as a kite and lovin’ life. Seriously, the whole night I was so happy. Friend E kept laughing at me ’cause I kept saying over and over, I’m just so happy guys! This is the best!

While there, some pictures were taken & after the cut are the 3 that I am in. I put green hearts over my friends’ faces in case they don’t want them up on the internets. Can you see my bloodshot eyes? In the last picture I’m smiling really big & Andy goes, “Why do you have that fake smile?” to which I replied, “Oh no, that’s totally real. I was so happy!”

After being there for a while, we decided to move to another bar. That one was boring and everyone went home. It was just me and M left, trying to sober up to drive home. We walked around in the cold for a while then headed to Denny’s to chow down. Some random dude from Kazakhstan came and sat with us and M and I kept quoting Borat until he finally left. Dude was boring!

After that, we went home. I was a little miffed because the waiter to advantage of my inebriated state and gave me an extra order of pancakes which M ended up paying for anyways, lol.

Woo! What a night!

btw, the title is from a text my friend T sent me a few weeks ago after i told her i was really excited for my daily news program Inside Taiwan

Aww looks like you had fun :) Hehe I’m the same with the trust issues but I usually encourage Ray to go out and let off some steam; I’d be more worried he’d resent me later in life if he didn’t do the “young” thing now that he’s young ;) I guess I’m lucky though cos neither of us are into going out getting hammered every weekend so it works out really well :) I’m glad you and Andy found a compromise :)

FUUUUUUN!
OMG…if you were here, we’d probably be drinking and whatnot all over Hartford…and then drunk-cooking. Seriously though, it’s nothing but high-end restaurants and bars here!! WTF?! Nuffin the middle!

I feel kinda the same way…but in a different situation since all we have right now is each other in this strange new city. I suppose I’ll outgrow it. I love hanging out with my tomato.

Wow, you guys are so happy and Irish and drinking XD Looks like fun!!!

Aw, my fiance’s name is Andy, too haha So I know EXACTLY how you feel! I used to go out a lot with friends and party, but now if he doesn’t know my friends, I just don’t go – instead of making him feel left out. :) Ah love
